ALPHA+ Training Program for Asset Management (2017~2021)

To keep Taiwan’s financial market abreast with the international community and to facilitate the development of Taiwan’s international asset management business, we developed a training program called the ALPHA+ Training Program for Asset Management. The fundamental concepts are Access to Language skills, PHilosophies of investment, Asset management and services-Program Linked to global Unified Standards, abbreviated as ALPHA+. The Chinese name of "通往語言技能、投資哲學與資產管理金融服務業之路徑–國際專業接軌課程" is a metaphor for the enhancement in professional ability and improvement in ALPHA value of the trainees after the training to contribute to the company and the market.

Global Asset Management Workshop (2017~2021)

To help mid-level executives of asset management achieve a better understanding of the latest trends in the international asset management market, we held a study course (the study topics and the number of participants in the past 5 years are listed below) to strengthen the professional capabilities of Taiwan’s asset management talent and guide the trainees to broaden their horizons so as to better take advantage of major trends in the future.

Taiwan Private Equity Fund Practical Training Study (2017)

The competent authorities have opened up the investment trust business to develop private equity fund business, expand and increase the scale of asset management, as well as guide the capital investment in domestic infrastructure and new industries. Accordingly, a number of study courses were organized with a total of 178 trainees, which enhanced the professional capabilities of talent in asset management, promoted the asset management companies to better understand regulations governing private equity funds, operational structure, financial taxation and other practices, creating a new blue ocean for businesses.

Training Program for Green and Sustainable Finance (2021)

In line with the policies released by the FSC, including the "Capital Market Blueprint" and "Green Finance Action Plan 2.0", a number of professional practical courses were established with a total of 36 trainees to nurture mid- and high-level professionals in green and sustainable finance, thereby creating a forward-looking and internationally competitive capital market, strengthening asset management companies' mastery of green and sustainable finance trends and practices, and helping investee companies transform their plans into concrete ESG actions.

Seminar on Government Fund Operation Objectives and Performance Evaluation (2017)

In order to improve the understanding of the asset management companies on the operation of the government funds and performance evaluation, a seminar was held with a total of 117 participants, which improved the understanding of the asset management companies on the operation of the government funds and performance evaluation.

New Southbound Policy Opportunities and Challenges Seminar (2018、2019)

In response to the government's new southbound policy, representatives from regulatory institutions in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam were invited to participate in bilateral exchanges through seminars and discussions (the topics and the number of participants in the past 2 years are listed below), to enable the asset management companies to have a better understanding of the prospect of the government's promotion of asset management development in the new southbound regions and achieve a firm grasp of the key factors. The aim was to help the asset management and financial industry support the industrial sector and create a win-win situation.

National Infrastructure Construction Opportunities and Challenges Seminar (2018)

In response to the government's emphasis on infrastructure, this seminar was held with a total of 56 participants, which enabled the asset management companies to understand the contents of important government policies and take advantage of business opportunities, and promoted the asset management and financial industries to provide diversified capital channels to support the industry, thereby creating a win-win situation.

Seminar on New Business Opportunities and Challenges in REITs for the Asset Management Industry (2020)

The seminar was organized in cooperation with the FSC's opening up of the investment trust industry to issue REITs, with a total of 208 participants, which enhanced the professional practice of REITs in the asset management companies and promoted the development of new types of REITs business.

Study Camps for the Asset Management Supervision and Thematic Investment (2020)

A total of 84 participants attended this event to help practitioners in asset management to understand the focus and development direction of asset management supervision in Taiwan and to enhance their professional expertise in thematic investment practices.

Post-COVID-19 ESG Investment and Risk Management Seminar (2021)

Sustainable development is a core value that is currently valued globally and in Taiwan. In line with the FSC's policies such as "Corporate Governance 3.0 - Sustainable Development Blueprint" and "Green Finance Action Plan 2.0" released in August 2020, the program organized with a total of 215 participants, which enhanced the professional ESG capabilities of asset management companies.

New Financial Knowledge of Asset Management and Legal Compliance Series Seminar (2018~2021)

In order to enhance the understanding of senior executives as well as legal and compliance-related personnel in the asset management companies on new international financial knowledge and legal compliance practices, regular seminars have been held (the discussion topics and the number of participants in the past 4 years are listed below) to achieve the benefits of implementing the legal compliance system and inspiring new mindset for business development, and to promote the sustainable and stable development of the asset management companies.

Asset Management Forward-looking Series Forum (2018~2021)

In line with the FSC's release of the "Fintech Development Roadmap", "Corporate Governance 3.0", "Capital Market Blueprint" and "Implementation Strategy for Sustainable Development and Transformation of the Securities and Futures Industry", as well as the domestic and international asset management dynamics, a number of forums (the discussion topics and the number of participants in the past 4 years are listed below) were held to broaden the horizons of the asset management industry and promote business innovation and development benefits through the discussion of various topics.

Seminar on Intelligent Financial Management and the New Wave of International Fintech Development (2017)

In cooperation with the FSC's "Fintech Development Promotion Plan", a seminar was held to discuss the application of asset management integrated with intelligent financial management, with a total of 85 participants, thereby injecting new energy into the pioneering business development of the asset management industry in Taiwan.

Blockchain Asset Management Innovation Customer Service Application Seminar (2018)

In cooperation with the FSC's "Fintech Development Promotion Plan", a seminar was held to discuss the application of asset management integrated with blockchain, with a total of 93 participants, introducing new possibilities for expansion for the asset management industry in Taiwan.

Seminar on AI and Asset Management Practical Application (2018)

In cooperation with the FSC's "Fintech Development Promotion Plan", a seminar was held to discuss the application of asset management integrated with AI, with a total of 97 participants, enhancing the development competitiveness of the asset management industry in Taiwan.

Seminar on Global Fintech Development and Asset Management Application and Practices (2019~2021)

In line with the "Fintech Development Promotion Plan", "Fintech Development Roadmap", and "Building a Digital Financial Environment 3.0 Plan" policies released by the FSC, a series of seminars on the development of digital financial services (the discussion topics and the number of participants in the past 3 years are listed below) were organized to enhance the advantages of asset management business development by exploring the innovative application of fintech to the asset management industry.
