Hi-tech Interdisciplinary Seminar (2020)
Taiwan's high-tech industry plays an important role in the world. In order to enhance the professional skills of asset management practitioners in analyzing high-tech industries, practical courses with "industry analysis" and "high-tech industries" as the main topics of the study were organized with a total of 31 participants to enhance trainees’ understanding of the structure of high-tech industries, improve the quality of industry evaluation and research, and become interdisciplinary financial talent.
Fixed Income Theory and Practice Workshop (2021)
Fixed income financial instruments play an important role in asset allocation. In order to enhance the knowledge of asset management practitioners in the area of fixed income, a practical course was organized with a total of 16 participants to enhance their professional skills in fixed income, reduce the volatility of investment allocation and take advantage of the benefits of effective risk management.
Asset Management AI Application Practices Workshop (2019~2021)
In line with the "Fintech Development Promotion Plan", "Fintech Development Roadmap", and "Building a Digital Financial Environment 3.0 Plan" policies released by the FSC, practical courses (the study topics and the number of participants in the past 3 years are listed below) were organized to help financial professionals transform and nurture financial technology professionals to assist the asset management industry in driving innovative business development.
Practical Course for Information Security in Securities and Futures (2020~2021)
In line with the "Financial Information Security Action Plan" policy and the "Financial Information Security Talent Capability Map" released by the FSC, practical courses (the study topics and the number of participants in the past 2 years are listed below) were organized to strengthen the development of information security talent and develop institutional information security governance, so as to achieve the goals of safe, convenient, and uninterrupted financial services for financial institutions.
Training Program on Enhanced English Communication of Securities and Futures Merchants (2019~2021)
In line with the FSC's promotion of "Building an Accessible Financial Bilingual Service Environment by 2030", practical courses on languages and communication (the study topics and the number of participants in the past 3 years are listed below) were organized to improve the ability of financial institution practitioners to think in English and communicate internationally, thereby creating a bilingual financial service environment.
Digital Learning Course on Asset Management
In response to the rapid development of the digital era, an e-learning program has been organized since 2018 to provide asset management practitioners and investors to acquire new knowledge about asset management anytime and anywhere. The operational structure, topics and number of participants are as follows
CIIA Foundation Exam and Promotion
CIIA is a highly professional financial certificate at an international level. A CIIA Foundation Exam was organized to encourage practitioners to enhance their professional skills and obtain international certificates. From 2018 onwards, 1 exam has been administered in March and 1 in September each year, for a total of 2 exams each year. The number of applicants and subjects reported in the past 4 years are listed below. The purpose of the exam is to enhance the benefits of the capabilities and international competitiveness of Taiwan’s asset management talent.
